Staci Franklin:
Staci's first connection to Oak Hills Christian Preschool came after their family
moved into Oak Hills community and their youngest son attended the school. When a
teaching position opened up in 1999, Staci was excited to pursue teaching again
after being a stay at home mom. Staci attended the University of Oregon and
Northwest Christian College before graduating with a teaching degree in 1983, with
emphasis in Physical Education. She substitute taught in David Douglas school
district for two years before becoming a full time mom. Staci is married to the
love of her life, John, who is regional director for Young Life and she enjoys
being involved with him in that ministry. They have three active boys with whom
they share a zeal for life and joy in sports. The Oregon Ducks paraphernalia is
proudly displayed at the Franklin house! Staci has great enthusiasm and love for
preschoolers, joy in teaching and lots of fun with her teaching partner. Following
the retirement of two long time teachers, Staci began teaching the 4 and 5 year
old preschool class in 2006.

Sylvia Gillenwater:
Sylvia, a native of Canada, graduated from Lambton College with her Early Childhood
Education degree. Soon after graduating she decided to move to Michagan and attended
Reformed Bible College where she attained a Bachelor's degree in Religious Education.
After moving to Oregon she became a member at Oak Hills Church. Wanting to pursue
teaching young children, she soon connected with the preschool and began teaching in
2004. Sylvia's first year of teaching at Oak Hills was blessed with having her
daughter in her class and her third year, her son. Making learning fun and exciting
for kids is what Sylvia loves to do. She brings much joy and energy to the school and
love for the Lord and His precious little ones is evident to all.

Sharry Kragt:
Sharry was first involved at Oak Hills Christian Preschool as a parent. Their
oldest son was part of the very first class when the preschool opened. All four
of their children attended the preschool bringing numerous opportunities for her to
be a "mom helper". When the opportunity came in 1999 to be the teaching assistant
for the 3-4 year old class, there was no hesitation! Sharry has been a long time
member of Oak Hills Church and has enjoyed teaching young children in several
different ministries there. Sharry is exuberant when sharing about her love for
the preschoolers and her teaching partner. With her own children grown, preschool
provides the perfect avenue to be closely involved in the lives of God's precious
little children. Following the retirement of two long time teachers, Sharry began
teaching the 4 and 5 year old preschool class in 2006.
