Carl Leep enjoys serving as a pastor, helping people discover what God
is doing their lives and how to respond to his love. Carl came to Oak
Hills Church in 1987 with an excitement that continues in this growing
ministry. He deeply appreciates being a part of the staff team.
"Leading the church family in following Jesus through change is both
challenging and rewarding."
Carl sees the Lord actively transforming people in their spiritual
journey and finds great joy in sharing that journey with them and his
church family. He takes his cue for ministry from Jesus, introducing
people to the Savior by addressing their personal concerns and helping
them to worship God. "I'm excited to see where God is leading Oak Hills
Church to serve our community!"
Carl is married to Lori, the love of his life and "the catch of a lifetime!" She is
active in the worship ministry and serves as a substitute teacher. They have three
children: Nick works in the landscape and nursery industry; Kara is focused on working
with young children; and Erika is pursuing a degree in nursing.
Carl enjoys the great northwest with his family, exploring the area by camping and
hiking. His two favorite hobbies are gardening and fly fishing. He is also learning
to tie flies. Stop by his office sometime to hear a fish story!
